Lamiera is the only event in Italy dedicated to the sheet metal field and, following its relocation to Milan, the event has strengthened its position in the international event calendar, attracting new exhibitors and expanding the product offering on display as well as the number and variety of exhibiting companies. Lamiera’s exhibitors are big and small Italian and foreign manufacturers and enterprises specialising in the production of complex industrial plants and automated systems. There will be companies focused on manufacturing stand-alone machines and technologies for more traditional factories. Laser cutting is represented comprehensively. There will also be a wide offering of technologies for welding and surface treatment on display. A varied range of presses, along with dies and moulds, machines and tools and equipment for metal structural work and fastener systems will be present. As well as a strong emphasis on the tube and plate machining industries, there will be experts in sheet metal and innovative material machining. In addition, a special area is this year dedicated to solutions involving Industry 4.0 for the digital factory of the future. The event also examines the world of robotics and integrators – areas that are becoming ever more important.
