HydraForce celebrates 30 years of manufacturing in Birmingham

With plans to increase its sales to around £130mn in 2019, and to further add to its current employee numbers of 730, the company has expanded its market beyond Europe and has started to export to Asia over the last year. The HydraForce range of hydraulic car- tridge valves and manifolds is designed to be compact and robust. Valves per- forming different functions often use the same cavity bore, dependent only on capacity and number of ports. HydraForce Hydraulics Ltd celebrated its 30 th anniversary of trading in the UK late last year, with an event at Birmingham’s Millennium Point. The manufacturer of hydraulic valves and manifold systems brought its employees together with families and friends for the celebration. More than 800 people attended the event, which included family activities ranging from face painting and fairground fun to Segways and street food vendors. Tony Casale, vice president of the USA- based parent company HydraForce Inc, flew in to attend the party, and was one of the key speakers at the event. Mr Casale said, “Here at HydraForce we see our employees as part of our family and the success of the business is due to the efforts and commitment of our staff. The facility in Birmingham is the second largest company in the HydraForce
