The company’s straight-length tubes are manufactured according to ASTM, MIL- T, SCI and AMS specifications, making them suitable for ultra high purity (UHP), aerospace and defence, semiconductor, medical and general instrumentation applications. The straight-length tubing is available in sizes ranging from outer diameters as small as 0.508mm (0.02") and inner diameters as small as 0.127mm (0.005"), similar to the coil tube sizes. HandyTube also manufactures seam- less capillary tubes, for uses such as measurement and sensing devices. From pressure gauges to flow meters, the capillary tubes are used in critical applications where accuracy and reliability are important. Inspection, measuring and testing Contrôle Mesure Systèmes (CMS), a specialist in non-destructive testing methods, offers a large range of NDT equipment, especially for tube inspection, on- or off-line, in ferrous or non-ferrous metals. The two main CMS products are RotoETscan eddy current rotating heads for tube inspection in a 1 to 220mm diameter range, for surface, subsurface and punctual flaws detection; and RotoUTscan ultrasonic rotating heads for tube/bar inspection in stainless steel, titanium, zirconium, or carbon steel (6 to 250mm diameter range), for longitudinal and transversal defect detection, thickness measurement, OD, ID and ovalisation. These rotating heads can be combined with other CMS equipment, such as magnetising units, rotating systems or support coils, and can be installed together in a strong control bench including centring devices. Supervision software allows the display of combined signals (UT/ET) and creation of inspection reports that can be used as control evidence for quality services and customers.
