Looking into the future of hydraulics Voss Fluid showed itself to be branch-specific and future-orientated at Hannover Messe in April. A new booth concept included a branch corner, in which specific solutions for hydraulic systems in a wide range of areas were presented. In addition to new developments, Voss showed future-orientated ideas and approaches. Examples demonstrated further development of the Voss Type 90 Comfort and its evolution into the “perfect pre-assembly device”, which is designed to prevent all conceivable assembly failures in the future. Among other things, the Type 90 Comfort detects whether the tool is correctly placed, whether the cutting

ring is in the correct assembly position and whether the correct distance to the end of the tube has been maintained. In this way, serious assembly errors can be prevented before they occur. Voss also presented the new connection system Voss Plug for hydraulic hose connections, as well as a study on flow- optimised couplings for performance- optimised applications.
