Compact non-return valve with minimal pressure drop

the unique selling point of the small gas safety device is its responsiveness: at just 4 Mbars, the NV150 offers the low opening pressure typical of Witt valves. The pressure drop in the line is therefore very low, making the valve particularly suitable for systems operated at low pressures. In addition, the new spring-loaded valve system has low noise emissions, and its high-quality sealing system with elastomers effectively prevents leaks. Model NV150 is designed to operate up to 70°C ambient temperature and 16 bars maximum operating pressure. Weighing only 221 g, the brass device can be mounted in any position and offers a long service life thanks to its integrated dirt filter (100

Process safety dictates that gas non- return valves are needed to prevent the dangerous backflow of gases and the formation of unwanted mixtures in plants and pipelines. With the NV150, Witt presents a new development to meet this requirement: a compact ½" fitting with minimal pressure loss and high flow capacity, made possible by its optimised design. The device from theGerman specialist in gas safety and gas process engineering is only about the size of a matchbox. The 60mm short component with a diameter of 35mm meets all the requirements of DIN EN ISO 5175-2 and protects systems featuring town gas/natural gas, acetylene, hydrogen, oxygen and non-flammable gases, as well as compressed air. micron). Versions in stainless steel and aluminium are also available. The lightweight aluminium version is suitable for applications in the field of fuel cell mobility, for example. Witt’s cleaning processes comply with the EIGA/CGA standard for oxygen cleanliness. As a further special feature, Witt carries out an individual test of each fitting before delivery.
