Water infrastructure systems provider SDS has announced the acquisition of Asset International Ltd, which includes the exclusive rights to manufacture Weholite large diameter plastic pipes in the UK and Ireland. SDS will take over the operation of Asset International’s Newport, UK-based manufacturing facility, which has been operating for 20 years and has the capacity to produce 10,000 tonnes of Weholite products each year. Norma Group, a specialist in engineered joining technology, held its annual Norma help day for the fifth time toward the end of last year. The event took place at Norma’s sites all over the world, including the company’s headquarters in Maintal, Germany, where employees supported the Albert Schweitzer Kinderdorf eV in Hanau by painting, cleaning up and doing yard work.
