Major agreement for delivery of cladding tubes

Sandvik Materials Technology, a manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high- performance materials, has concluded a multi-year supply agreement for the delivery of cladding tubes in zirconium, valued at more than 3bn Swedish krona. Deliveries will take place over a number of years commencing in the first quarter of 2011.

The customer is Westinghouse, which Sandvik has worked closely with for many years, and the cladding tubes will be used in nuclear power plants worldwide. As a result of the agreement, Sandvik’s board of directors has approved a significant expansion of production capacity for cladding tubes at Sandvik Materials Technology’s facility in Sandviken, Sweden. “Sandvik offers a broad product programme to the

The 8 th China (Beijing) International Steel Tube Industry Expo 2011 will take place from 16 to 18 June 2011, at the China International Exhibition Center, Beijing. The exhibition scope for steel tube products includes petroleum casing pipe, large-diameter oil delivery pipe, gas pipeline, seamless steel tube, welded pipe, stainless pipe (square,

rectangular, circular stainless steel tube), cone-shaped seamless steel tube, profiled seamless steel tube, metal bellows, industrial welded pipe, carbon steel pipe, and fittings.
