Eurolls will display a new three draft cold rolling line for production of ribbed wire in the range 3.4-16mm, including an innovative bull block with the possibility of producing either traditional cold rolled material (by use of the well-known Eurolls cassettes, and rolls) or high ductility wire according to the new European standard for construction material (by stretching). Also on show will be straightening and cutting machines of the new production line with higher productivity. Other improvements include speed increase, use of latest electronics and command through touch screen, possibility of connection to the Internet for trouble shooting from its facilities to anywhere in the world, and tooling common on all models. A full range of Eurolls cold rolling cassettes will also be on display with technicians ready to illustrate the main features and advantages. Concerning the industrial wire eld, Eurolls will present the new wet drawing line with technical alterations for steel cord wire production. Technically speaking great care has been taken in the design to avoid wire torsions that lead to bad quality. An innovative automatic winding control on the wire allows optimal wire tension in winding, and an automatic recognition of the position of the two side anges of the spools avoiding strati cation di erences in these critical points. Technical innovations have been adopted to also improve di cult points in production: easier threading of the line and passing of wire through dancer and into the spooler, control panel with all production data in full operator sight, and less and simpler maintenance needs. The machine is compact, simple and e ective, with an extremely streamlined wire path depending on the product to be made. The R5-model is suitable for drawing large round wires, trolley as well as at wires for copper/copper alloys, aluminium/ aluminium alloys, according to the nished wires to be produced, as well as the inlet wire available. This R5-model is substantially di erent from the other conventional machines proposed, and uses: • multi-motor machine, each capstan is individually driven by independent motors with precise synchronisation of the motors’ speed for fully non-slip operations • special execution with idle loop-spacer rings on each drawing capstan to draw large at wires • suitable with di erent drawing capstans size, equipped with inner cooled by water and with pneumatically activated rollers to facilitate string-up operations as well as to prevent the wire loosening • high-precision shaving system for the removal of surface oxides on the rod coil, can be positioned in the drawing machine according to the user’s requirements

Optionally, the furnace may be equipped with the continuous monitoring of the process atmosphere to compensate uctuations of the main gas composition to stabilise the quality of the product.
