Crosspolimeri’s main target is to satisfy that part of the market asking for carefully ready prepared and tailor-made special compounds. The company is specialised in producing thermoplastic and cross-linkable compounds with and without ame- retardant and halogen-free properties. The industrial elds of electrical cables, tubes and technical parts for the automotive, aeronautical and railway industries, as well as consumer goods or communication systems has been o ering a multiplicity of applications for its compounds. The compounds are produced in Italy, where several polyvalent production lines have a total capacity of 12,000 tons per year, and in the sister factory Crosspolimeri AG, located close to Basel, Switzerland, that is also able to produce 12,000 tons per year. Following research in medium tension and in the automotive eld, Crosspolimeri is in a position to present for this sector new compounds meeting T2, T3, T3S and T4 speci cations.
