Two new riveting machines for threaded rivet nuts Fastening solutions company Rivit Srl is offering two models of enhanced riveting machines that combine the structural solidity of the standard models with a series of improvements designed to maximise the speed of screwing and unscrewing of the threaded rivet nuts. With technical features that can increase fastening speed by an average of 25 per cent, the new RIV938P and RIV939P models are suitable for the metal carpentry sector, for storage and handling systems and for assemblies in highly productive environments, where cycle time is a high value-added parameter. The performance of the riveting machines is enabled by upgraded motor supply circuits and optimised air inlet and outlet flows. In addition, the unique pneumatic return system of the primary piston eliminates force losses attributable to the return spring (typical of most riveting machines), resulting in greater overall efficiency of the riveting tool. The RIV938P allows the clamping of rivet nuts with diameters up to M10 and achieves a force of 20,000 N, while the RIV939P covers a range of rivet nuts up to M12 and has a force of up

to 26,600 N. Both models are also available in versions that are compatible with the new Controlriv GEN3 fastener quality control system. Rivit Srl is based in Ozzano dell’Emilia, Italy, and since 1973 has been supplying the industrial, retail and construction sectors with products, and consulting on fastening systems and tools for the assembly and machining of sheet metal. The company became part of the Fervi Group in 2021. Rivit Srl www.rivit.it
