Committed to effective solutions in harsh environments

Established in 1971, the company has pioneered the technology of XLPE silane crosslinkable polyethylene compounds, and has been offering HFFR compounds for cable sheathing, wire insulation, pipe and fitting applications since 1982. Padanaplast Srl www.padanaplast.com

It also shows good flexibility, resistance to hot pressure up to 140°C, and com- pact char forming behaviour in case of fire. Padanaplast is based at Roccabianca, near Parma in Italy, and operates 14 production lines certified to EN ISO 9001, ISO EN 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001.

Padanaplast, specialising in polyolefin compounds for use in wires and cables, pipes and fittings, is continuously looking for new technological solutions to offer advanced products to the wire and cable industry. With its core technologies, Padanaplast is able to serve industry sectors that are demanding in terms of performance, technological know-how, competitiveness and safety. The new grade Cogegum® GFR 1907 offers an effective solution where chemical resistance and high self- extinguishing performance are required. Cogegum® GFR 1907 was conceived as an HFFR silane-crosslinkable material for jacketing. It offers high chemical resistance to fluids such as mineral oils, fuels, hydraulic oils, drilling fluids and other chemicals, where good retention of mechanical properties and low swelling are essential. It is suitable for on-shore and off-shore cables, chemical industry cables and windmill cables. Wire machinery from Sweden Having been in the wire industry for more than 100 years equips Lämneå Bruk with specialised industry knowledge as well the ability to find solutions for the changing demands of its international customers. Its wire machinery equipment ranges from drawing machine lines to spooling machines, rod preparation, coilers, take- ups, payoffs, wire laying and pointing machines, not only for welding wire but also for wire types such as low to high carbon, stainless steel and spring wire. All machines are designed and manu- factured on-site in Sweden, allowing for flexibility and customisation of each unit according to customers’ requirements. A thorough three-step risk analysis and conformity to ISO standards ensure the safety standards of all machines. Lämneå Bruk AB www.lamnea.se

Drive down energy costs More energy efficient than electrical welders, our rod

welding machines rely on advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems to produce reliable welds stronger than the parent material. When you’re welding large rod sections, that means lower power bills and less waste, too. Find out more at www.pwmltd.co.uk
