Highly automatic spool winding

Kurre’s automatic spool winder is characterised by a high degree of automation that the company says increases productivity without sacrificing flexibility and quality. It winds and packages different materials (plastic, rubber, silicone, etc) and structures (hard, highly flexible, tube, rope, etc). In the current version, products with a diameter of 3 to 20mm, from a production drum with a maximum outer

diameter of 2,800mm and a weight of up to 20 t, can be processed fully automatically on single-use spools. The machine is designed for easy operation and efficiency at the same time. Product or coil changes, for example, are possible with just a few simple steps, and cable defects are detected, cut out and safely sorted out on a separate pallet. Offering the latest servo-controlled technology, the high-speed compact double concentric head taping machine will be used to maximise productivity by applying mica, Nomex and PET to conductors.
