When extruded and cured following standard industry practices, cable insulated with these compounds will comply with the requirements specified in the UL-44 standard, including: XHHW- 2; RHW-2; SIS; UL Horizontal Flame; rated up to 2 kV; Oil Resistance I & II; Gasoline Resistance I & II; and Sunlight Resistance (all colours for XL-EPR, black only for XLPE). The systems will cure with exposure to moisture at ambient temperatures, With borders still closed and other limitations on travel, Gimax has been commissioning machinery using remote digital systems. The use of augmented reality has been put to use several times since March, with a total of ten complete lines having been commissioned this way worldwide. The company recently started up machinery in Russia and India, and three other lines – in the USA and Canada – will shortly be commissioned using augmented reality, with several more scheduled for the latter part of the year. Gimax states that it is essential that it continues to offer a complete and many international

but cure time can be accelerated with exposure to a water bath or steam sauna. These AquaGraft insulation grades were designed for use in various low-voltage applications where superior thermal, mechanical and electrical properties are required, such as building wire, control cables and submersible pump cables. ECC recommends the AquaGraft 16-6010 system for applications that require a higher degree of flexibility. Data sheets and processing recommendations are available upon request.
