Next generation from Enkotec Enkotec has introduced the next generation Enkoroll – its fastest and most reliable thread rolling machine for the wire nails industry.

The Enkoroll TR01, being launched in Q4 2020, has been designed to ensure that the production speed of thread rolling does not cause a bottleneck, whether in an inline or batch mode set-up. Offering an output speed of up to 3,000 nails per minute, the Enkoroll is also claimed to be equal to superior quality and consistently threaded wire nails, thanks to a highly rigid structure. With a perfectly engineered mechanical set-up and insertion mechanism, the Enkoroll enables fast and easy conversion from ring to screw shank, providing production flexibility. An Enkotec feeder bowl, laser-cut for a smooth surface, ensures a stable and continuous flow of nails, assisted by a vibration-monitoring stabilisation feature, allowing maximum uptime by avoiding unnecessary stops. An optional automated lubrication system supports reduced labour intensity by ensuring correct and timely maintenance of the main bearing. The new Enkoroll will also be equipped with the latest generation software platform from Enkotec – Enkosmart – which provides remote access and control for fast-track support. Candor, founded in 1946, specialises in wire cleaning and plating plants, and is a supplier of chemicals for various applications. At wire 2020, Candor will be presenting its developments and technology for galvanic wire plating lines, especially Sn, Ag, Ni and Ni on copper ally wires, as well as Ni, Zn and Cu on stainless steel and carbon steel wires. The latest developments of the Copperjet high-speed copper coating plant, chemical or electrolytic, for welding wires will also be presented. The plant can copper coat wire at speeds of up to 25-30m/s. A modular design makes it possible to satisfy a wide range of quality demands and applications for CO 2 , MIG, FCW and SAW welding wires, as well as stainless steel welding wires with ultrasonic or electrolytic cleaning.
