Miltec welcomes new regional sales representative Miltec UV has announced that Paul Dounian has joined its sales team. Mr Dounian came to Miltec from Mettler Toledo, where he had spent the last 18 years, the majority of which were focused on industrial applications around the areas of weighing, measuring and the integration of that data into customers’ systems and processes.

LEMO marks 75 th anniversary

Founded in 1946 in Morges, Switzerland, along the shore of Lake Geneva, LEMO® took its name from the company’s founder, the current CEO’s grandfather, engineer Léon Mouttet. Originally a manufacturer of contacts in noble and rare metals, the company took a step forward in 1957 with the invention of the push-pull self-latching connector. Today, the company offers a portfolio of inter- connection solutions, including cables, connectors and cable assembly services. LEMO’s push-pull connectors are found in a variety of applications, including medical, industrial control, test and measurement, audio-video and telecom- munications. The third-generation family- owned company is represented worldwide through 20 sales offices and multiple production sites in Europe, the USA and Asia.

He brings experience and knowledge to Miltec pertaining to manufacturing operation, customer service, marketing and sales, and is responsible for sales in the Great Lakes region and surrounding US states. Miltec president Bob Blandford said, “Paul is an outstanding addition to our sales team. In addition to growing his territory, Paul will also provide our customers with the individual support they have come to expect from Miltec.”
