The rst step to create a perfect synergy between Mixer’s compounds and the customer equipment is to gather all the application speci cations. Then, the TCS team assists the client on-site during the trial production, supporting the operational units towards the best setting of the machinery and collecting the necessary information for the product tuning, up to the nal homologation of the cable. The customer care is continuous, with regular visits by sta to check the proper processing and performance compliance of the supplied material. Following in the globe-trotters’ footsteps, just in the rst quarter of 2019, the TCS team met and assisted customers in Mexico, USA, Hungary, Russia, Germany, Spain, China, Singapore and Italy – travelling some 57,000km in the process.

Mixer SpA is an Italian rubber manu- facturer creating compounds for cable producers, including CV lines and eBeam cross-linkable materials, both for insulation and sheathing, as well as thermoplastic beddings. Mixer has designed and developed in-house technologies relative to compound formulations, compounding machinery and management software. Fully automatic double-head spooling line

PS Costruzioni’s automatic double-head spooling line, model PS 630/15 2B, is the result of the tangible reminder of the company’s commitment to mate- rial technology-based innovation and product development. This machine executes the manufacturing process fully automatically, leaving the operator in place with the function of supervision. The operator only has to load an empty spool on the store and unload full pallets from the automatic pallet unit.
