Higher performance for high-performance LAN cables

In promoting its new technology, Rosendahl Nextrom has described a worst-case scenario: a minor flaw occurring at the very beginning of physical foaming during Cat 8.1 cable production; only the finished cable cable can be tested, so a whole day of production goes to waste, and the manufacturer will not know where the mistake happened or how to prevent it. Rosendahl Nextrom has been working on improving physical foaming to meet the challenging requirements for Cat 8.1 and Cat 8.2 cables. The company has developed a system that controls the most critical part of the process. The Rosendahl Mass Flow Control unit (RMFC) is switched between the high-pressure pump and the extruder. It automatically regulates the gas flow and constantly adjusts it throughout the whole production, which results in repeatability by reaching a constant and evenly spread foam. Combining the RMFC with Rosendahl’s Gas Injector Valve (RGIV) further accelerates the process. The self-locking system can be left in the extruder, so solid and foam recipes can be produced without dismantling the equipment.
