Powder coating tech Rolf Schlicht GmbH has introduced two new models in its RSPowdertech range of powder coating machines.

The Talkator SPC series for cables, hoses, wires and profiles is positioned below the RSC NG line. Its strength is in slow- running, simple cable production as well as in the production of strands and profiles in the extrusion sequence. The Talkator has particular advantages in the rubber industry, where the processes run at low speeds. The machine uses the newly developed RS AirStreamTechnology coating method, which avoids expensive brush solutions in most applications, but still provides good coating results. The powdering is carried out by one or two AST powder guns connected to up to two jet pumps. The RS AirStreamTechnology is able to achieve a fine and even coating at production speeds of up to 100m/min, even without electrostatics. The Talkator NG DR (drum roll) is used in the powdering of rubber moulded parts or within granule production. Fine coatings are achieved and, as with the established

New wire straightening and cutting machines

Ravni Technologies’new range of wire straightening and cutting machines are fully servo controlled. Brushless servomotors are used on all movements – feeding, straightening and cutting – and the new generation of motors provide better efficiency. Extensive work was carried out on the structure of the frames, which resulted in better acoustics. The ease of use of the machines was enhanced, with better ergonomics provided by the new HMI. The company has also introduced new straightening and cutting machines for profile wire. These machines are dedicated to the straightening and cutting of steel, stainless steel and copper aluminium profiles. The feeding of the material is carried out either by rollers or by belts. The combined machine is equipped with a roller straightener for profiles and a rotary straightener for
