Chainflex hybrid bus cables for Ethernet and Profinet moving applications in e-chains

MOTION plastics specialist igus has introduced single-cable solutions for use in energy chains with Ethernet or Profinet elements and power cores in the CFBUS. PUR.H01 series. Thanks to the extensive tests carried out in the igus test lab, users can not only calculate their service life online, but also get a guarantee of 36 months. The oil-resistant PUR outer jacket makes them suitable for moving applications in machine tools and other demanding environments. In addition to the hybrid cables with Profibus and fibre optic elements, the CFBUS.PUR.H01.049 with CAT6 and the CFBUS.PUR.H01.060 with Profinet round off the range of combinations from igus. The special core structure is protected by a pressure-extruded, highly oil-resistant PUR outer jacket. To enable global use, the cable family has UL and NFPA approval and meets the requirements of EAC and CTP. Like all igus cables, the hybrid cables are tested under real conditions at different temperatures in the in-house 2,750m 2 test laboratory. Due to this real-world testing, igus is able to provide a 36-month guarantee on its chainflex hybrid bus cables, even in the most demanding environments.
