40 th anniversary time for Gimax It is celebration time for Gimax, which is celebrating its 40 th anniversary this year. The company, founded by Gianluigi Marangoni and partner Giuseppe Magnaguagno, has been intensely active in that period to ensure that Gimax became a reference point in the machinery industry handling ferrous and non-ferrous wire. In more recent years, the next generation has taken over, marking the start of an exponential growth in terms of product mix and market share. It has been this path of transformations, evolution and innovation that in these last few years has established a renewed and coordinated image and company philosophy, as well as a totally renovated factory building that is more sustainable, ecological and technological, with its own solar panels that guarantee power in excess of the factory requirements. A new ERP (enterprise resource planning) and CRM (customer relationship management) system updated in 2015 allows Gimax to offer a more timely and efficient service, as well as having obtained a greater efficiency in manufacturing with its recent five-axis CNC and other tooling machinery. The evolution of its product portfolio, with the recent addition of process machinery (drawbenches and ancillary equipment) and the development of existing machinery (software, components and basic design) has further strengthened the position of the company.
