This con guration makes it easy to integrate the HSBE-3302 into an existing drawing line.

Roller guides of the new RK VE SH series provide a solution to this problem, as they permit both radial and axial displacement and securing of the individually positioned rollers. The radial adjustment and securing of the roller axles with the rollers is achieved by means of slotted holes in the basic body of a roller box and associated hexagon nuts. Axial displacement of the roller axles with the rollers is also possible. The multi-part and externally threaded roller axles protrude more or less laterally from the basic body of a roller box section after axial displacement. Once adjusted to, this gives users the advantage of setting the contact or wear point correctly and achieving a four times longer roller life. Roller guides of the RK VE SH series are available in two sizes, for process material diameters up to 5mm and 10mm.

Witels-Albert GmbH Stand: 09E39

Under the motto ‘Better smart than hard’, Witels-Albert will present new ideas and products for guiding, straightening and transporting process materials. The intelligent processing of wires, tubes, ropes, cables, at wires and strips is the focal point of the trade fair presentation. Visitors to the stand will discover o ers that promise easy handling and high productivity. Individual advice and recommendations for the use of products in future- orientated elds will be available. Highlights will include roller boxes of the RK and RK VE series, which have been part of the product range of the Witels-Albert for decades. The robust designs are used to stabilise the path of process materials in a de ned horizontal and vertical direction. Due to the permanent contact of the process material, wear and tear often only occurs in a very small area on the rollers, especially if the guide gap is set close to the process material diameter. Usually only 25 per cent of the roll length is damaged. In order to avoid damage to the process material, standard maintenance strategies recommend replacing only locally damaged rollers. Although this is good for the nal product quality, it has a detrimental e ect on the cost-e ectiveness of the production.

technology

Thanks to the sensor-controlled linear drives, precise positioning and automatic readjustment of the 180° o set pairs of brushes is possible. This ensures both high e ciency and long brush life. The autonomous control system on board and the Siemens® touch panel enable user-friendly and exible machine use and a compact design. The current HSBE-3302 wet cleaning and coating system uses proportional valves to provide energy-saving compressed air technology. The compact system design in stainless steel is easily accessible to the operator and includes a self-su cient control with the latest electronic technology. air consumption when blowing o the wire is minimised up to 45 per cent, and the coating results are kept constant. In combination with wet cleaning, a double chamber system ensures up to 30 per cent higher coating coverage. The energy-e cient and indirectly heated tanks have an automatic and visualised re ll system. With the new proportional valve technology, the compressed
