The continuous search for advanced materials in cable manufacturing has led Melos to an innovation: the halogen-free flame-retardant compound Mecoline S TP 1045 F. In addition to its flame-retardant proper ties, the compound is claimed to set new standards in terms of resistance to crack ing in changing ambient temperatures. Mecoline S TP 1045 F has a high tear propagation resistance, especially at temperatures of up to 60°C. The ability to maintain its structural integrity even at fluctuating temperatures is necessary for the reliable, long-term performance of low- and medium-voltage cables, particularly in demanding industrial and technological applications.
