China, USA and Thailand focus for exhibitions Wire industry professionals are spoilt for choice this month with the latest technology and innovations on display both East and West, with exhibitions and conferences taking place in China, Thailand and the USA. First up is wire China, being staged in Shanghai, from 4 to 7 September – an event offering so much expectation that organisers expanded the size to accommodate thriving stand reservations. More than 800 exhibitors will be on display at the four-day exhibition, with wire China entering into cooperations with multiple media channels covering Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, the UK, Germany, Turkey and the USA, increasing the event’s international influence and opening up more foreign trade channels. Moving to the USA, it is the turn of IWCS to welcome the industry to Orlando, Florida, with a technical symposium, executive session, panel discussions and its popular exhibition all providing the ideal opportunity for networking. Key decision makers in the cable and connectivity industry will make this their number one target as products, services and industry leadership all feature high on the agenda at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center from 17 to 20 September. A return to Asia sees exhibitors and visitors alike head to Bangkok, Thailand, for the staging of wire Southeast Asia from 20 to 22 September. Connecting local and global manufacturers, suppliers and service providers for the wire, cable, spring-making and fasteners industries, the fair will play host to exhibitors not only from Asia, but from over 30 countries worldwide.
