The acquisition expands MW Industries’ existing USA-based manufacturing locations to provide precision components for worldwide distribution. The combined company will offer an increased selection of stock, standard and custom socket caps, button sockets, flat socket caps and other threaded fasteners, along with a wide variety of highly engineered metal and plastic components.

Lesjöfors expands in US with acquisition Lesjöfors, part of the Beijer Alma group, has signed an agreement to acquire the assets and operations of US spring manufacturer John Evans’ Sons Inc. With this acquisition, Lesjöfors will strengthen its US presence and increase its sales to the medical industry. industrial, construction, aerospace and transportation industries. The acquisition will also enable other opportunities for growth, such as purchasing coordination, cross-selling and resource/knowledge sharing with Lesjöfors’ other US companies.

John Evans’ Sons, founded in 1850, is said to be the oldest spring maker in the USA. The company has a diversified customer base with long customer relationships, attributable to its expertise and ability to support customers early on in their product development projects.
