Automatic cleaning dosing unit In daily operation, time is often lost for material changes. The Plasticolor 1500 dosing device from Woywod now has a useful additional function: an automatic cleaning device.

On command, the dosing unit is emptied via pneumatic slides and the use of compressed air. All components of the dosing unit are then cleaned using a sophisticated control algorithm. The dosing unit then only has to be refilled. Fully automatic discharging and cleaning of the dosing unit saves the time that would be required for a complex material change. By using quick couplings for compressed air, disconnection from the dosing unit is quick and safe. A double release prevents sudden drops in pressure due to open hose ends. The newest generation PC 90-04 PDC controller is optimally configured for single volumetric dosing devices.

The controller is available for different motors, and various operation modes can be set based on the user’s requirements. The compact Venturi conveyor is maintenance-free except for the filter,
