Troester at Interwire 2021 Troester is a manufacturer of complete extrusion systems for the cable industry.

At Interwire – booth 1451 – the company will present information and new developments in the fields of medium, high and extra-high voltage CCV and VCV lines for XLPE land and submarine cables; rubber CV and CCV lines up to 35kV; silane lines for LV and MV cable applications; and high-speed insulation and sheathing lines, including NM, building wire, automotive and flexible cord applications. In addition to having its own booth, Troester will participate on the WAI Industry 4.0 Pavilion to introduce its recent developments in Industry 4.0 and augmented reality maintenance tools. Products being showcased will include the variable cable seal Trendseal for CV lines, advances in Industry 4.0, triple cross- head TQU and a functional continuous kneader.

X-Compound, a member of the Troester Group, specialises in complete systems for the compounding of plastics with the process steps conveying, melting, dispersing, mixing and degassing. It will present kneader technology for the continuous compounding of HFFR (LSOH),

AMI launches Cables 2021 programme AMI has released the programme for its European Cables conference. The event will take place in Cologne, Germany, from 14 to 16 September 2021. “AMI’s Cables conference is a valuable and important annual meeting of the industry with good opportunities for exchange and growth in knowledge and expertise,” said a spokesperson from Corning Optical Communications.
