IWCS 2019 returns to Charlotte with a packed programme for professionals

MORE than 125 papers and presentations in 18 sessions over three full days, and a suppliers exhibition are just some of the highlights awaiting delegates and visitors at this year’s IWCS International Cable and Connectivity Symposium. Returning to the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, the event gets underway on Sunday, 29 th September, and runs until Wednesday, 2 nd October. In addition to the papers and presentations, a variety of strong professional development courses are being staged on the Sunday, with industry-leading experts providing the insights. The executive session, aimed at general management of the cable and connectivity

producing companies and suppliers, will hear about the economic trends facing the industry from expert speakers, and will be followed by a panel of industry leaders with their vision for “Telecommunications in 2025.” The annual plenary lunch will feature a speaker on the trends and drivers for the industry, and and will provide an opportunity to honour the achievements of recent and past university students who have received various industry scholarships. For sports and car lovers among the delegates and exhibitors, the reception this year is being staged at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and, as in previous years, door prizes are being provided at various points during the conference.
