Five-year plan in place

CATALAN company Delta Tecnic, a producer and distributor of colour concentrates with more than 35 years’ experience, has presented its results and forecasts for 2019 and its roadmap for the cable and automotive sectors over the next five years. The presentation took place in Barcelona, Spain, and was attended by Martí Baqués, CEO of Delta Tecnic, Eric Xirinachs, general manager of Deltacolor Masterbatch Division, and Eva Gotor, marketing manager of Delta Tecnic. Headquartered in Sant Celoni, Barcelona, Delta Tecnic expects to invoice €45 million in 2019 – an 11 per cent increase in production compared to 2018 – and to continue its global expansion. In the first five months of the year the company experienced constant growth, as its production has already expanded by 12 per cent with respect to the same period of 2018. Mr Baqués said: “We are expanding rapidly abroad. We are currently growing four times faster than the rest of the market, and we’ve already exceeded our 2018 growth by more than ten per cent.”

With a current export volume of 80 per cent, the company markets its products in more than 60 countries, including Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, India, Romania, Morocco, Russia, Germany and the UK. Delta Tecnic has two production plants in Sant Celoni with a total surface area of 15,000m 2 and a multidisciplinary team of 165 people. DeltaTecnic – Spain Website : www.deltatecnic.com

To maintain the competitiveness of its products, Delta Tecnic allocates three per cent of its total turnover to R&D. By doing so, the company wants to address market needs through ad-hoc solutions and by creating a revolutionary product in the sector that yields increased efficiency and quality by lowering costs. During the event, the company also announced the recent renewal of its corporate identity, the goal being to connect with customers in a way that is more visual and direct.
