Certas chosen as UK distributor of RecondOil Box

SKF has signed a distribution agreement with Certas Energy, an independent distributor of fuels and lubricants in the UK. As part of the agreement, Certas will act as an SKF RecondOil certified partner in the UK, offering the units to industrial customers on an “oil as a service” basis. The agreement complements Certas Lubricant Solutions’ existing distribution partnerships with manufacturers of industrial fluids, giving customers the opportunity to enable a circular and sustainable use of lubricants. SKF’s RecondOil Box is an enhanced depth filtration system that incorporates RecondOil’s patented double separation technology (DST) to regenerate used lubricants, reducing consumption and handling of the oil while improving machine performance. The Estane® EV thermoplastic poly- urethane (TPU) and sustainable polymer solutions of Lubrizol Engineered Polymers were showcased at Interplas UK in September, at the stand of Bjorn Thorsen, the company’s distributor in the UK and Nordic countries. Lubrizol has developed new material solutions to meet the growing sustainability requirements of selected markets, with polymers that have up to 50 per cent lower carbon footprint and deliver attributes such as high mechanical and hydrolysis resistance to the end product.
