INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED AS LEADERS IN GALVANISED WIRE TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT IN WIRE MANUFACTURING.

Many of the changes included: • Removal of acid cleaning for rod.

PWT Limited has led the way in reducing the environmental impact of the wire industry worldwide. We have incorporated ‘cradle to grave’ view of the processes of making steel wire. Since the late 1990’s our company has worked with wire mills to help achieve the minimisation and elimination of Chemicals and other environmental issues associated with making wire products. In addition, we have incorporated a larger view of how the industry affects the environment, communities, and businesses. We will leave a better environment for future generations to come.

• No use of in line wet lubricant coating systems. • Recycling of any lubricants in wire drawing. • Improved wire drawing efficiency. • No use of acid and flux in galvanising. • Overall reduction of raw materials. • Energy reduction programs through more efficient operating systems and technology uses. • Reduced working capital. • Reduced operational footprint.

Galvanising and Single Dip ZnAl Lines

We have provided low to high-speed galvanising lines of DV200+ with Zinc, ZnAl5%, ZnAl10%, ZnAlMg technology. We have also provided double dip lines depending on customer requirements. From class 1 to Class C coating weights. We offer gas, electric and dual heat systems to allow customers to maximise benefits now and into the future. Patented gas burners allow accurate temperature control whilst maximising efficiencies. Our wiping systems including Electromagnetic Wiping (EMW®) are designed to provide coating weights from 30g/m² to over 600g/m². Also, the technologies allow for accurate even coating for round and shaped wires.

Lubricant conditioning (LCM) for wiredrawing. This technology allows companies to maximise the wire drawing machine speeds by providing a conditioned lubricant well suited for the needs of drawing dies. Improved lubrication of wire through the use of RSD technology which enables continues improved lubrication of the wire allowing for better die life and increased machine speeds. Our people, know how, and experience has through consulting services enabled companies worldwide to save over USD100M by purely improving their existing technology and helping them to do things they were not able to do in the past. Whether a customer is in need of an upgrade to existing facilities or starting a greenfield site we offer solutions.
