Industry’s breath of fresh air Companies have been forced to adapt, change working conditions and, indeed, how they work to pull themselves and colleagues through the last few years. One thing that has been missing is the regular, face-to-face contact we all take for granted. It may be a year, or in some cases two, before industry professionals would meet up at any number of exhibitions throughout the world. It was always a time to catch up, explain new technologies, meet with old friends, make new acquaintances, and secure lucrative business relationships that can be nurtured more freely and easily in person. It is no wonder that wire 2022 will come as a breath of fresh air throughout the industry. Rightly billed as the largest and most important event in our calendar, theweek-long exhibition at the side of the River Rhine inDüsseldorf will once again play a pivotal role in our thoughts. Different it may be, but wire 2022 will again provide the platform companies have sorely missed out on. Our coverage starts on page 90 and features a sample of the exhibiting companies.
