In automated manufacturing processes with fast movement sequences and large work envelopes, the relatively long carriers can knock against the robot arm. The Pull Back Unit prevents this by keeping the cable carrier tensioned. This prevents premature wear, and can extend service life and reduce downtime. The compact design of the unit results in fewer protruding contours and a lower risk of collision, while maintaining the flexibility for the guiding of the cable carrier. The PBU can be used on robots regardless of size, manufacturer and type, and is also suitable for retrofitting and modernising existing production cells.
