recovery and recycling activities are made possible by production centred on electric furnace technology based on scrap recovery. The continuous reduction in the use of raw materials of natural origin, together with the recovery/recycling activities of residual products in internal processes and “industrial symbiosis” practices, are an objective for the Pittini Group. A zero waste initiative, which began in the mid 1990s, aims to contain the emissions in any environmental matrix (air, water, soil, noise, emissions and waste), combined with the rational use of resources, and the sustainable management of plants and their positive relationship with the territory. The company states that the wire die systems it has developed contribute to faster wire drawing speeds and improved quality and productivity. The company has provided the wire drawing industry with wire die solutions for more than 50 years, from the ParaLoc pressure system to the recycling programme that Paramount’s inserts make possible. In addition to standard wire drawing dies, Paramount produces shaving dies serving both the valve spring wire and the stainless wire markets. In shaped dies, Paramount supplies ferrous and non ferrous wire producers. The company has been producing PCDs since it was founded.
