Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co KG 09 F55 Coding and marking systems specialist Leibinger states that the two things that mattermost in thewire and cable industry are quality and maximum output. For coding extruded products, the company develops industrial printers that it says ensure maximum speeds, reliability and user-friendliness, using special inks and industry-specific technologies, for a measurable increase in productivity. On its stand in Hall 9, Leibinger will present five of these technologies. Among the products being showcased will be the Jet Rapid Wire, a high-speed printer that codes cables, wires, tubes and hoses at speeds of up to 60km/h without sacrificing marking quality. Visitors will have the opportunity to have their cables or other product samples coded directly on the stand. Using special print heads developed for these applications, both fixed and variable codes can be applied legibly, even to small cable diameters. Special inks ensure adhesion, abrasion resistance and durability. With the Jet Rapid Wire PI, even dark materials can be coded with contrast inks at speeds of up to 800m/ min. The High Speed Line’s specially shaped print head adapts to the shape of extruded products Photo credit: Jörg Ladwig Leibinger also has solutions for flexible applications with frequent product changes, such as an ink that is easily legible on both dark and light surfaces. This all-round solution eliminates the need to purchase several devices for printing on different coloured cables, wires and tubes. At the centre of Leibinger’s printing technology is a patented hydraulic system, with Sealtronic® – a fully automatic nozzle-sealing technology that seals the ink circuit airtight during production pauses. This increases coding reliability and eliminates labour-intensive cleaning work due to dried ink and clogged nozzles. Another feature developed by Leibinger to optimise production is the Speed

DependentOutput function, which ac tively monitors common pre-treatments such as corona or plasma, and triggers them through the printer. If the produc tion speed falls below the predefined minimum, the pre-treatment is actively switched off to prevent production downtime. Leibinger also supplies digital tools and services to facilitate integration into production processes. These are based on the Leibinger Connect platform and provide insight into productivity-driving and productivity-inhibiting factors in the coding process and beyond. The products assist in anticipating the daily tasks involved in the operation of the coding systems, actively contributing to more efficient production workflows. An early-warning system helps carry out maintenance work on-schedule while avoiding unexpected downtime. In addition, the products support performance analysis and production optimisation based on benchmarking and relevant key figures. This applies to the entire value chain beyond coding. Leibinger Connect also enables the integration of coding and marking systems into modern Industry 4.0 environments. No Twist Coiler 1200

Having been in the wire industry for more than 100 years, Lämneå Bruk has specialised knowledge as well as the ability to find innovative solutions for the changing demands of international customers. All machines are designed and manufactured on-site in Sweden, allowing for flexibility to adapt each machine according to the specific production requirements. Those looking for a machine that can streamline and modernise the entire wire production process will find at Lämneå Bruk’s stand one of the company’s newest innovations: the No Twist Coiler 1200. This machine acts as payoff and take-up for the drawing machine, for streamlined wire production. The main advantage is the handling of the wire package as undriven payoff, resulting in twist-free and straight wire. The machine saves energy and has less downtime due to its continuous production ability. Lämneå Bruk will run the machine live at its newly designed stand at wire Düsseldorf – daily at 9:45, 10:45, 13:45 and 15:45, except for Friday, when the last demonstration will be at 14:45. The team will advise visitors about how to get production ready for the future. The company will also showcase its drawing machine as well as the second generation of its fully automatic precision layer winder. Lämneå Bruk AB www.lamnea.se
