New dates for wire 2020 The coronavirus pandemic has led to a number of postponements in the exhibition calendar – the largest being wire 2020 in Düsseldorf, Germany, which has been rescheduled for 7 to 11 December this year. Hafren Security Fasteners steals the limelight in this issue of EuroFasteners with the opening of a new purpose-built storage facility adjacent to its head office in Newtown, Wales, UK. See page EF 2/44 for the full details. Another exhibition in the headlines is SpringWorld, which takes place from 7 to 9 October in Rosemont, Illinois, USA. Presented by the Chicago Association of Spring Manufacturers Inc (CASMI), the exhibition brings together spring manufacturers, wire formers and OEMs. In 2018, nearly 2,200 attendees and exhibitors took part.
