1,250°F electric inert atmosphere oven

NO 938 is a 1,250°F electrically heated inert atmosphere oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating copper parts at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions are 36" wide, 120" deep and 36" high. 80kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements deliver power to the unit, while a 6,000 CFM, 5 HP recirculating blower provides a universal front-to-rear airflow to the load. This inert atmosphere oven features an aluminised steel exterior, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior and 10" insulated walls, comprising 2" of 1,900°F block and 8" of 10 lb/cu ft density rockwool insulation. Inner and outer door gaskets are provided, with the inner gasket sealing against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front face of the oven body. No 938 has all the construction features on-board for inert atmosphere operation, including pressure regulator, pressure gauge, internal high temperature gasket, all-welded expansion connection in doorway throat, air jacket on inner oven body for cooling, ½" thick silicone rubber atmosphere seal, blower shaft seal, positive Amphenol RF has launched its SMA Quick-Connect adapter, a straight jack to straight plug configuration, as part of its portfolio of coaxial adapters. This precision-machined 50 ohm adapter allows for quick and easy mating with all existing threaded SMA jack and plug connectors. The SMA Quick-Connect adapter easily converts any standard SMA plug test cable into a Quick-Connect cable without compromising the electrical integrity of the assembly. The adapter maintains the same high-quality coupling that customers expect from a threaded interface. In addition, the unique push-turn thread on, pull off style of coupling used by this SMA adapter does not require any tooling for mating or unmating. Utilising this Quick-Connect adapter together with an existing SMA plug test cable reduces the time and effort involved in the testing process while at the same time extending the life expectancy of the test cable.
