The advantages of Sepiolite Masterbatch are the following: • High content of homogeneously dispersed Sepiolite flame-retardant synergist in two polymer bases, EVA and PVC • Easy handling and feeding into final formulations • Improvement of fire-retardant pro- perties • Decreased heat release • Anti-dripping effect • Reduced flame propagation • Reduced fume emission • Reduced swelling

Delta Tecnic Masterbatch with Adins Clay additives as a flame-retardant synergist Delta Tecnic Masterbatch with Sepiolite additives acts as a high-efficiency synergist with most flame-retardant systems.
The result is a much more solid char with much better mechanical properties, which limits the flame propagation, prevents the burned polymer from dripping and also strongly reduces fume generation. Used with metal hydroxide formulations, these additives contribute to developing a more consistent and tough char, preventing the substrate polymer from burning.

Additionally, the synergist reduces the compound’s swelling effect.
