Young but growing The Swiss Competence Cluster was created in 2022 and is still in its inception phase. SCC is a non-profit association that currently has ten members representing various sides of the industry. Additional Swiss companies will join soon. Stronger together It is in our mentality to consider success because of strong partnership. Periodical meetings enable members to share common concerns, learn about the geopolitical situation or technological advances, gain a better understanding of each other’s activities and, ultimately, strengthen their knowledge of this specific industry.

The association is a credible single point of contact for relations with the Swiss government and event organisers. In November 2024, it took part in wire India with an SCC Swiss pavilion, and will also participate at Interwire 2025 under

The association is also in contact with other national (IWCEA, ACIMAF, etc) and international (IWMA) associations, and wants to extend the partnership, particularly on technological points, with Swiss cable manufacturers. As a blend of local players with global reach, SCC is convinced that together we can better meet the challenges of tomorrow.
