Huber Advanced Materials announces European distribution partnerships The Huber Advanced Materials (HAM) business unit of Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) has expanded its distribution network for elastomer and rubber applications in several European countries. Two new distributors now representing HAM and its pro- duct portfolio are Nordmann and Safic-Alcan. Nordmann will be responsible for France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, while Safic-Alcan will handle Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Turkey and the UK. HAM will continue its existing European distributor relationships with Omya, Massó, Quimidroga and Traxys. Markus Klügge, director of sales EMEA+I at HAM, said, “Our new distributors have proven track records of success, which immediately enables us to broaden our effectiveness specifically in the rubber market, and their addition to our distributor roster is a win-win result, as we are better able to serve our customers from both a commercial and technology perspective.” As a supplier of halogen-free fire retardants, smoke suppressants, thermal management solutions, speciality aluminium oxides and organic matting agents and carriers, HAM is committed to being a long-term sustain- able partner. With four manufacturing sites in North America and two in Europe, HAM provides a portfolio of fine precipitated, direct ground, surface treated and low viscosity aluminium hydroxides and magnesium hydroxides.
