production flexibility, enhanced safety, reduced downtime and minimum maintenance. With more than 50 years’ history in making rigid stranding machines, AEI has been selected for projects in regions across Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, competing for demanding applications with rigid stranders that satisfy various safety and conformity certifications.

examination of older models inspired new solutions, ensuring that each aspect is geared towards productivity. Highlights of the continuous drawing lines include: • Patented cutting and chamfering sys tem that enables precise machining • Motorised adjustments to ensure accuracy • Robot feeding to increase work safety and efficiency • Straightness measuring to confirm compliance with specifications The innovation begins with the de coiler, where fully automated solutions, including robots, enhance workplace safety. Moving to the core of the line, improvements in the continuous drawing machine increase both precision and efficiency. Using a flying shear to cut the material ensures precise section tolerances. Following the shear, a robust two-roll straightening machine provides optimal straightness. The use of servomotors throughout the line eliminates manual changeovers. The ends are precisely cut and chamfered, with high repeatability. ASMAG integrates the testing technologies of MSG – a partner of the ASMAG Group – with MSG’s SES and GMS-S systems confirming surface quality and straightness, respectively. Each ASMAG machine, including the next-generation continuous drawing line, is designed and manufactured according to customer requirements. This approach not only allows tailored solutions but also ensures alignment with varying budgets. Based in Austria, the company’s head- quarters hosts the entire production process in-house.
