Automotive suppliers use these solutions to produce battery cell and module connectors completely mounted in carrier frames, ZSB circuits for direct drives, shielding sleeves, busbars and hairpins for stators. are responsible for safe and e cient power transmission in electric motors. combining drive and PLC functions in a single unit. To make the machines more economical, the complexity has been reduced; for example, the turrets are now pneumatically operated, eliminating dozens of precision-machined parts. The new end nish system (knuckle and barb) will be easier to adjust for height changes, reducing set-up time, maintenance time and maintenance expense, and improving machine uptime. The end nish operation is signalled from the HMI, replacing a series of mechanical linkages that required adjustment and parts replacement, not to mention considerable skill. The take-up system has been integrated into the main frame of the machine, reducing the number of parts, simplifying the operation, and reducing the footprint of the machine by 30 per cent. The take-up will be closer to the weaving section of the machine, e ectively “tightening” the process, reducing mis-weaves, and allowing higher standard operating speeds. With more than 90 years’ experience designing and building fence-related machinery, Bergandi Machinery has more than 2,500 machines in operation in more than 65 countries around the world. Along with its agship chain link weavers, the company produces high-speed (Iowa style) continuous-twist barbed wire machines, high-tensile reverse-twist barbed wire machines, PVC extruders for use in the manufacture of colour chain link, fuse bonded systems to produce thermally fused organic coated wire for chain link, concertina/razor wire systems and other related equipment. The machinery is manufactured in Ontario, California, USA, where the company is headquartered. machine
