Compact rewinding lines for high precision in inspecting and winding

The automatic failure repositioning system is able to place a detected failure on a defined position where the operator is able to verify and evaluate the detected failure on the product. highly precise laying quality, the machine was equipped in 2014 with a laying computer. To ensure a low product stress during the testing process and to be able to process a wide range of products, such as flat products or delicate products from medical technology, the winding positions are executed traversely. The system is developed with a tension range of 5-50 N, which is realised among others by a traversing laying system which generates a gentle and low friction product treatment.

Increasing demands for product quality require efficient and high quality equipment with less stress on the product to be inspected. Simultaneously, the required production space becomes more important for the manufacturer of wire and cable. In the case of increasing requirements for products and a continuous minimisation of the production space, Kurre has developed a compact rewinding line for product inspections. The flexibility of the measuring instruments range and a compact design allow various possibilities in the available test processes. In order to realise a small footprint, measuring devices were placed on the housing between the winding stations. The machine consists of only a single housing and can be transported in one piece.
