We live in a fast-moving environment. Plant, machinery and industry are meeting head-on with technology and the virtual world in what is being described as Industry 4.0 – the fourth industrial revolution. There is, perhaps, a no more signi cant time for this to happen as wire and cable professionals head to Düsseldorf for wire 2016. Thousands of exhibitors and visitors will descend on the German city from 4 th to 8 th April to join the ‘best’ at the largest biennial wire exhibition in the world.
