The measuring accuracy is 0.2 micron to 2 micron, depending on bore or wire diameter. For lower accuracy demands OEG o ers the low cost measuring and inspection system DIM for diameter and roundness of the bore of wire drawing dies. Additionally to the diameter gauges, OEG is introducing the new measuring system DG 1 for the measurement of the reduction cone angle of drawing dies. The DG 1 also has the measuring capability for diameter and roundness of drawing and enamelling dies with the same speci cation as the DM 1. The product line is completed by a drawing die inspection system, specially designed for this application. OEG GmbH – Germany Website : www.oeggmbh.com
batch sizes. It permits a fast, requirements- focused response to customer demands. Very fast, 100 per cent reproducible setup and retooling operations are the strengths of the system. Combining servo technology with the latest control technology, the result is fast, reliable production, while the use of the VariControl VC 1 machine and process controller means that the system is extremely easy to program and operate. With the powerful machine, production cycles of up to 300/minute can be realised. The costs for new tools are signi cantly reduced and existing tools from the RM series can be easily integrated and optimised for use on the NC machine. ▲ Servo-controlled stamping and forming machine RM-NC. The diameter measuring range of the DM 1 is 0.01mm to 12mm. Since it uses image processing principles, the object under test is always displayed on the computer monitor. This avoids faulty measurement because of dust particles, since they can be seen during the measurement.
The new servo-controlled stamping and forming machine RM-NC is designed for a highly e cient manufacture of stamped and formed parts in small and medium
