Conclusion Lubrizol Engineered Polymers has one of the largest and most complete NHFR TPU portfolios in the world that brings the right solutions for the wire and cable market in the field of automation, sensor, data and drag chain cables, among others. All Estane ZHF flame-retardant TPUs have been developed considering processability and global regulatory compliance to serve wire and cable companies looking for FR solutions that are non-halogenated, while continuing to meet the stringent regulations applied in these sectors. The latest addition to the product portfolio, Estane ZHF 90AM9 NAT 01, combines heat and hydrolytic resistance, high mechanicals, high flame resistance, and UL105°C and VDE 282 compliance in one grade. Additionally, this grade is easy to process, with good surface aesthetics, and contains no plasticiser.

3.4.2 Hydrolytic stability test Hydrolytic stability testingwas conducted according to automotive ISO 6277 standard: pieces of extruded strip were hung up in the climate cabinet at 85 per cent humidity and 85°C for 1,000 hours (after the first 500 hours, samples were taken out of the cabinet and tested).
Table 5 summarises the outcome of the tests.
