New US business unit for Mixer Mixer SpA has been producing rubber compounds in pellet form exclusively for the cable industry for 25 years. Founded in Italy in 1996, it provides products for insulation, sheathing and bedding. its know-how developed through 25 years of experience, with local staff and production, in addition to a dedicated on-site warehouse. Steven E Houpert has been appointed business manager for North America.

The Italian firm has expanded its activity by founding XO Trade – a business unit based in Columbus, Ohio, USA. This new Mixer subsidiary is completely focused on the US market, with particular reference to automotive low- and medium-voltage insulation being considered strategic for this area.
