At present, some companies have developed a management system based on RFID for the routine work of cable information query, location, post-operation and maintenance. 4 Conclusions The development of RFID optical cable mainly solves the problems of easy wear and tear, difficult process control and unsuitability for batch application of traditional optical cable printing. Radio frequency identifiable optical cable adds radio frequency chips to the cable by using a special non-sticking “electronic tag”. Later, by scanning the chip with the radio frequency identification tool, the number of the chip can be identified, and the production information stored can be retrieved in real time after the interconnection. The optical cable can be widely used in the laying of outdoor optical cable for communications. The optical cable adopts RFID automatic data acquisition technology to realise the electronic, informative and intelligent management of optical cable, and improves the level of maintenance management and work efficiency; it can also reduce the cost of manpower. n

Each “electronic tag” RF chip has a separate number. In a later stage, the cable information will be recorded on a unified data platform and matched with the RF chip number. The number of the chip can be identified by scanning with the handheld termi- nal of the radio frequency identification tool. The information stored in the background and the information needed for the construction and maintenance of the optical cable line can be retrieved in real time after the interconnection. 3.3 Radio frequency identifiable cable application The radio frequency identifiable optical cable is scanned by the CSM60 wireless data terminal device designed with high- performance two-dimensional scanning reader. When the power is adjusted to the maximum, the identification distance can reach half a metre. The terminal can display accurate information and meet the requirements of information identification, as shown in Figure 7 . The performance of radio frequency identifiable optical cable is verified. The experimental results are shown in Table 2 . In conclusion, the performance test of radio frequency identifiable optical cable is qualified. RF chip tag identification technology has the characteristics of strong anti-jamming ability and high response. However, the RF chip tag has a long service life, good information confidentiality, and is anti-corrosion and waterproof, which is suitable for the situation of direct buried or acid-base environment corrosion and loss of surface printing.
