Rautomead managing director appointed

Rautomead, a UK manufacturer of equipment for processing non-ferrous metals and alloys, has appointed Stephen Hall as managing director, succeeding Brian Frame, who is retiring after 15 years in the role. Mr Hall, a Glasgow-born electronics graduate from the University of the West of Scotland, joins the company following 18 years with FLEXcon Europe,

where he held several positions including European operations director, managing director Asia and managing director Europe. “Having built a reputation for producing the best copper alloys in the world, I’m committed to taking the company to the next level,” said Mr Hall. “I’ll be driving the business to innovate, identify and explore new niche export markets where, collectively, we can make an even greater impact while contributing to the UK’s strategy towards Net Zero.”

Polymer processing EMEA sales director

Nordson Corp’s Polymer Processing Systems division has appointed Julian Kätzlmeier as sales director EMEA for its BKG® product line. He joins Nordson from Syntegon Technology (formerly Bosch Packaging Technology), where he held sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility for 14 years. “Julian’s extensive background makes him an ideal candidate for this new position,” said Andreas Wenzel, vice president of Nordson Polymer Processing Systems. “I am looking forward to Julian leveraging his expertise and bringing new skills to our BKG team while spearheading efforts to serve our customers better.” Mr Kätzlmeier commented, “I can’t wait to further establish our high-quality melt delivery and pelletising solutions in the region and offer our customers the opportunity to differentiate against their competitors through our high-performance technologies. It is an exciting opportunity to work with our highly skilled team to develop and implement solutions that meet the diverse needs of our markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We aim to support regional growth and establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.” Mr Kätzlmeier has a Bachelor’s degree in technical business administration from the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg.
