The system can be equipped with a demagnetising unit to minimise the residual magnetic field within the product, based on customer preferences. When a short or transverse defect is present, it alters the coil’s impedance. The results are displayed in real-time on the instrument’s screen using CMS software. A comprehensive inspection report is generated, detailing the defect’s location and other relevant information. This system can also be integrated with additional eddy current and ultrasonic equipment on the same bench to enhance inspection capabilities and improve defect detection accuracy.
