Marking 30 years at Metalube Metalube Ltd is celebrating the 30-year journey of Albert Molloy, global product manager for OCG and non-ferrous drawing lubricants. As an integral part of the Metalube family, the company says that Mr Molloy’s contribution, dedication and impact have been instrumental in shaping its success and global position.

The accountability and challenge of moving the company forward in the early years required me to be focused and be deliverable when developing new opportunities.” Mr Molloy has witnessed significant changes within the company, and notes that it has evolved into a more diverse organisation, embracing new horizons and markets. Throughout his time with the company, Mr Molloy has collaborated with a range of colleagues and teams. Looking to the future, with a focus on North America, he aims to lead Metalube in gaining a substantial market share in the region, with a new phase of growth and expansion.

Mr Molloy was formerly a structural engineer who transitioned into working for a family business manufacturing wire drawing dies. It was during this time that he first crossed paths with Metalube founder David Lee – an encounter that marked the beginning of a journey that has spanned three decades. Delta Tecnic majority partners consolidate control Delta Tecnic, a specialist in the manu- facture of masterbatch for the PVC and cable industry, has concluded the repurchase of 40 per cent of shares held by Aurica Capital since 2017. This event marks the return to 100 per cent ownership of the company for the historical partners. The company stated that the repurchase of the shares “repre- sents a reaffirmed commitment to the original values and vision that has driven the company’s success over the years.” Strategic appointments have been made to strengthen the management and leadership. Andreu Carol will be the new CEO. An industrial engineer and holder of an executive MBA from EADA, he has been working with Delta Tecnic for eight years as industrial director of the Sant Celoni and Querétaro (Mexico) plants. Brita Kunze assumes the position of commercial director of the production division, bringing with her experience as area manager in the Central European area. Her focus on business development and the opening of new markets will be key to the company’s future growth. Identco hires vice president of global sales

Identco has been steadily adding to its portfolio of labelling solutions, which it designs, manufactures and supplies for sectors such as automotive components, electronics applications, industrial machinery and tools, and commercial transportation. The company also recently introduced VortexID, an automated wire-marking system. Brad Zechman, CEO of Identco, commenting on the new appointment, said, “Brian is a people-first yet results-driven business development executive with a track record of expanding revenue growth and extending market share. He officially joined the company in November, and will oversee sales efforts in the four distinct business units. He also is responsible for sales activities for Reliance Label Solutions, another company within Industrial Labels Holdings Corp. Most recently, Mr Kady served as vice president of sales at Pregis Polymask, where he drove double-digit sales growth for the protective films company. Before that, he gained adhesives and coatings experience during tenures with both Avery and 3M, two of the largest entities in that sector. He also has served as director of sales – performance adhesives group for Mactac.
